ABOUT THE JUNIOR BAKING PROGRAM
Designed for students in Grades 3–5, the Junior Baking Program introduces young chefs to the fundamentals of baking through fun, hands-on learning. Students practice measuring, mixing, following recipes, kitchen safety, teamwork, creativity, and confidence while creating delicious recipes.
WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN
BAKING BASICS
Learn how to measure ingredients, mix properly, follow recipes, and understand the basic steps used in baking.
KITCHEN SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
Practice handwashing, food safety, safe use of kitchen tools, keeping a clean workspace, and responsible kitchen habits.
CREATIVITY, TEAMWORK & CONFIDENCE
Build creativity and confidence while working with others, following directions, solving problems, and taking pride in each finished creation.

BAKING FOUNDATIONS
Students build essential baking skills through hands-on experiences with measuring, mixing, following recipes, kitchen safety, and proper use of baking tools.
CREATIVITY & CONFIDENCE
Young bakers are encouraged to explore their creativity while building confidence in the kitchen. Each activity gives students an opportunity to learn, create, and take pride in what they make.
TEAMWORK & LIFE SKILLS
Students practice teamwork, communication, responsibility, and problem-solving while working together in the kitchen. These skills help build independence both in and beyond the classroom.
